What's New

Welcome to February! I want to state again how thankful I am for you as clients and for your support! This job is a passion for me, so thank you for allowing me to do it! I am still booked out pretty far and wanted to let you know that if you want to get on an automatic schedule, we can do that! That way you get "your" time!

Another exciting aspect of my practice, is that I can now do couples or double massages! I do have to coordinate it with my business partner, so if you're interested in bringing in your friend, partner, or spouse and getting a massage together, call me and we can arrange that!

I am now going to be carrying doTERRA essential oils and products for retail as well! I am very excited about this! I will not carry everything, but I will have a good supply of favorites. If you ever need anything that I am not currently carrying, please let me know and I will order it for you! If you are not familiar with doTERRA or essential oils in general, please go to this link and see how beneficial they can be! I also teach free classes every Thursday evening if you ever want to learn more!

Sciatica Pain

Sciatica is pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back. It can cause lower back discomfort, glute, hip, hamstring pain, and can even run down into your foot causing pain all along the way. It is very common and I believe I am seeing more and more of it in my practice because of all the sitting we do as a culture now. Sitting at computer desks, cars, and at home offices can cause a lot of pressure on the piriformis muscle that is the main culprit in sciatica. One of my favorite stretches for sciatica is called the pigeon pose. It's a yoga stretch and here is a link to a YouTube video showing the stretch: Below is a graphic of some at home treatment with a tennis ball.
