Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor made the U.S. Army look sluggish.

What is Pearl Harbor?

Just before 8AM December 7, 1941 hundreds of Japanese planes arrived at Pearl Harbor near Honolulu, Hawaii. The Japanese destroyed over 20 naval vessels and killed over 2,00 people and injured over 1,000.

How did it make our Army look sluggish?

Radars spotted unidentified planes as if there was going to be an attack. Later the planes on the radar were dismissed. The planes being dismissed were the Japanese fighter planes. Later the planes attacked Pearl Harbor.

What else?

Many Submarines were spotted and also dismissed. The subs were shooting torpedos at the U.S. ships in the Harbor. The dismissed subs sunk 5 ships total. They were all gone by the end of the attack.
