--The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization of parents, teachers and staff that facilitates parental participation in school. It's a group for information sharing, networking and support, advocacy, educational resources, and volunteering to enhance Schumacher Elementary.

--By joining, your financial support and participation allows us to provide our entire student body with field trips, educational assemblies, community activities, T-shirts, Yearbooks, staff appreciation and more!

--No PTA member is required to volunteer or even attend meetings. Your level of involvement is completely up to you! And while we encourage parental participation, we understand that life is busy! Simply joining with our annual membership rate helps us to provide these activities throughout the year.

Did you know that you don't have to be member to attend PTA meetings?!? Childcare will be provided, and our meetings usually only last approximately 1 hour. We'd love to see you there!

Boosterthon will kick off on Monday, September 25th with the student's run on Tuesday, October 3rd. Students will be involved in daily huddles with their class, have nightly challenges, and help raise money for our school. All money raised from the Fun Run go towards class t-shirts, field trips, monthly events, and so much more!
