Something To Make Us Think.....
More from George Couros.....
My friend Tom Murray, author of the best selling book "Personal & Authentic" shared a thought with me in our podcast together that has really resonated.
Paraphrasing, he shared the idea that this year, no matter what, students will always remember the teacher they had during this time. It is an incredible opportunity for us to stick in their minds forever, so how do we ensure those memories of this time are ones that they will look back on in a positive manner?
Of course, there are so many negative things that all of us will think back to during this time, but our connections with students can be the light from the past when there could be a lot of dark memories.
This quote resonates more than ever:
Those words are truer more now than ever. Thanks to Tom for the conversation that has been stuck in my head for weeks!

"The best thing about being a teacher is that it matters. The hardest thing about being a teacher is that it matters every day."
