February is Black History Month, where we honor and celebrate the achievements of African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Monday begins National School Counseling Week where we celebrate our dedicated School Counselors. We are so thankful for our fantastic school counselors, Ms. Kiedrow, Ms. Thompson, and Ms. Tran! Quarter 2 report cards will be distributed during Homeroom classes on Monday. Parents you will also have access to see finalized grades in ParentVUE. This week our EML students will continue with WIDA testing. Our Boy’s Basketball team will be at home this Wednesday against Forest Oak Middle School, while our Lady Timberwolves will be away. On Friday we will celebrate our quarter 2 Honor Roll students and we will hold the Valentine’s Day dance after school from 3:00-4:15 pm.
