Staff Spotlight: Meet 4th Grade Teacher : Ms. Kaczorowska
Where are you from? Where did you grow up?
I am from Long Island. I grew up in Lindenhurst, NY and I spent my college years at Queens College and Columbia University.
What does your education journey look like?
I finished high school with AP courses and honors, followed by majoring in Economics, Childhood Education, and English with a minor in psychology at Queens College. I then majored in Applied Behavior Analysis at Teachers College.
What is your favorite thing about working at AH?
My favorite thing about working at AH is the community. We are all involved in many community events and happenings that make the students, parents, and staff feel that we are a team.
When you are not working how do you spend your free time?
I rarely have free time, but when I do, I like to spend it eating at novel restaurants and going on nature walks. I also enjoy reading for enjoyment. Most recently I’ve been reading on Ancient Egypt.
What is 1 item on your bucket list?
One item on my bucket list is to visit the Vatican. I would love to explore the rich historical city and marvel at it.
What would your superpower be?
If I could have one superpower, it would be to read minds. I’m an over thinker. I think that being able to read minds would help me with that regard.
What is a fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I once played the snare drum in school band. I loved percussion and I became section leader!
