What Happened Last Week

Last week we finished up with our farm theme! The kids really enjoyed reading Old MacDonald Had a Farm. We incorporated identifying and labeling animals and their sounds along with the features of the animals.

What Will Happen this Week

This week we will continue to talk about Fall and introduce turkeys and other fall fun crafts at table time! Our anchor book will be Soup Opera! Soup is always yummy to eat in the cold days we have ahead:) This is a great book and I am excited to be doing it for the first time with the kiddos! It is a sing along book that will provide some great learning opportunities; with the soup we will focus on different kinds of foods (some which may be introduced to the kiddos at Thanksgiving) and letters of the alphabet, like alphabet soup:)

Matt and Molly - The Hungry Turkey

Our Matt and Molly story will still be The Hungry Turkey. Please look for a copy of this story in your child's backpack!
