Event Information
Day 1: St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum
The St. Augustine Lighthouse was built twice because of ocean erosion in the civil war. The first one was built in 1737 and the second one was built in 1874. The first one reached 52 feet and the second one reached 165 feet. The one that is standing right now is located at the North end of Anastatia Island. The St. Augustine Lighthouse is just huge standing there right in front of you. It will be a fun historical place to visit. the St. Augustine Museum is filled with many historical English forts and weapons that were also used during war that happened in St. Augustine.

Day 2: Daytona Beach
There are many beaches in Florida. Daytona Beach is the "most famous beach in the world". The Timucuan Indians first inhabited the area. In 1804 Samuel Williams recieved a land grant for the area we know today as Daytona Beach.
Every year they run the Datona 500, the biggest Nascar race of the year. They are also have many museums, beaches and water activities including kayaking, surfing and parasailing.
Day 3: Universal
Universal is a really fun exciting place. There are fun games, nice restaurants, and awesome fun rollercoasters. Make sure you stop at Harry Potter world in Islands of Adventure and get your own wand and go on fun rides there too. There are many shows to be seen with taming animals to acrobats. You will have the most fun time of your life. So make sure you stop at Universal Studios!!!
Day 4: Columbia
Florida's oldest restaurant Colombia in Tampa. It was founded in 1905 by Cuban immigrant named Casimiro Hernandez. Casimiro Sr died in 1930 and his son Casimiro Jr took over the restaurant.
Day 5: Everglades National Park
The Everglades are a natural region of subtropical wetlands. They are located in the southern part of Florida. They are much like Key West but they are very swampy. Before us, the Europeans, Spanish, Calusa, and Tequestas all visited or made their home in the area. The park covers 1,506,539 acres. The Everglades is a very fun place and has much wildlife to be seen.
Day 6: Key West
Key West is an island. It is 90 miles from Cuba. It is located in Southern Florida and it is a Peninsula. The island is about 4 miles long and 2 miles wide. The Calusa people used to live in Key West before it came open to all people. Key West now also has swimming with dolphins and fun aquariums. It is a fun beautiful place!
