MyStudent Portal and Required Acknowledgments:
Thank you to our families have completed the required acknowledgments in the MyStudent Portal.
The required Parents' Bill of Rights acknowledgments and consents are viewable in the Parent Portal: http://pasco.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/?skipSAML=true.
Completing the acknowledgements and consents are EXTREMELY important as they prescribe the resources available to your student while they are at ZHS, including clinic access, counselor access, media center access, PSAT and other testing supports, yearbook photos, and more. ZHS staff can only use the information that is available in myStudent (what you have in your parent portal).
Please be sure to complete these acknowledgements and consent tasks as soon as possible so that we can effectively assist your student and you.
Bulldog PRIDE:
Our behavior, academic, and conduct standards are exemplified through Bulldog PRIDE.
PRIDE stands for
Proud
Respectful
Individual Thinker
Dedicated to Academics
Engaged
During the school year, we recognize students for showing Bulldog PRIDE in the classroom, in the cafeteria, on campus, and in the community with HERO points and other rewards.
Closed Campus:
ZHS is a closed campus. Students are expected to remain on campus for the entire school day and do not have permission to leave campus for food/lunch. Additionally, outside food, food delivery, and food sales is not allowed, as it jeopardizes our Free and Reduced Meal status. These deliveries will be refused.
We are Bulldog STRONG!

We have many instances recently where students did not have a ride or were on campus long after their event had concluded. If this continues, students will not be permitted to continue in their activity.

Penny For Pasco
On November 8, 2022, Pasco County voters will vote on Penny for Pasco, a referendum to maintain our county sales tax at the current rate. The Penny for Pasco initiative helps our school district pay for school renovations and brand-new schools in high-growth areas, as well as funding school safety improvements and athletic facilities upgrades. The funds also helps the county keep up with growth, by improving roads and adding sidewalks, as well as supporting first responders with life-saving equipment.
Penny for Pasco was first approved by Pasco County voters in 2004, and it has been instrumental in improving the quality of public education and the quality of life in Pasco County ever since.
Recent projects funded by the penny tax include total renovations to several schools, including Land O’ Lakes High School, Zephyrhills High School, and Hudson Primary Academy (formerly Northwest Elementary).
New schools have been constructed, significant capital improvements were made, and in 2017, Pasco County Schools purchased a fleet of compressed natural gas (CNG) school buses – all using funds provided by Penny for Pasco. See full list of projects
If Pasco County renews Penny for Pasco on November 8, Pasco County Schools has detailed plans to continue improving existing schools, enhancing school safety, and building new, innovative campuses across Pasco County. See full list of projects
