A letter from Mr. Allman regarding his upcoming retirement.
DuJardin Parents and Families.
After 33 years as the PE teacher at DuJardin, I will be retiring at the end of February, 2021. I entered the 20-21 school year knowing this was going to happen, but didn’t want to share the news at the beginning of the school year because of the unusual circumstances which have made this a school year unlike any other. I have been sharing this news with the students in PE classes this week.
DuJardin is a special place because of the terrific students, the outstanding parents and the incredible staff. I am honored to have spent my entire teaching career at DuJardin and I have many great memories to carry with me into retirement. It amazes me that I have taught over 2,300 students in my time at DuJardin, including the children of some former students. I am thankful for the opportunity to play a part in the education and care of our great students and I look forward to taking care of myself as I move into retirement. I look forward to being able to travel, attend sporting events I’ve always wanted to see and enjoy the opportunity for many adventures.
Should you have any questions or wish to discuss this with me, please email me at fallman@sd13.org
District #13 would like to recognize and sincerely thank Mr. Allman for his service to the students and parents of the DuJardin School community over the last three plus decades.
Some of you may have noticed as you drove into school this morning a new and shorter drive up route in the parking lot for student drop off. The west end of the parking lot has been blocked off in order to give our students more playground area while the field out back of the school is snow covered and wet. This morning parking lot configuration will stay in place until the end of March.
