Students must be there by 4:45 for picture. 5:30 is actual promotion. Look for an email from the 8th grade team for detailed directions for your students.

Tuesday-Thank you day-send a thank you note/card to someone
Wednesday-USA Day-dress in red, white, and blue!
Thursday-Virtual Field Trip-classes will be visiting some cool places virtually
Friday-Walking Day-classes will take a walk around campus
End of Quarter
Please note that all grades are due for teachers on May 12th at 3:00. Please look for communication from teachers when they are requiring all assignments to be turned in. This weekend is a good time to look at PowerSchool.

This week has been a fun one celebrating our teachers and staff at GP. We truly appreciate all that you do for the school and our kiddos. Big shout out and thank you to the families who generously donated and made this week a success. Our GP teacher and staff felt the love.

Hello Firebird families,
Isn't technology wonderful? Technology helps us stay informed and in touch with family and friends and the events of the world. Many of our GP students use technology to communicate with parents, especially when they are not feeling well. Did you know it is DVUSD policy that ALL ill or injured students be screened by the school nurse prior to being discharged home? It is important that your student see the nurse prior to leaving so that details of their illness/injury can be recorded in their health record and the nurse can screen for communicable diseases. This can be a very important step in preventing other students from becoming ill. So please, remind your student that they must see the nurse prior to being picked up for illness or injury.
