Planetarium Field Trip!
By Grace, Luca, and Landon
Yay it is a field trip! We went to the planetarium. The planetarium is when you sit on a chair and look up at the ceiling and there is a video for you to see. You can only see it at a planetarium, you can not just look up at a ceiling and see a video. Our video was about planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the rocky midgets and the other four planets are the gas giants. Then we have the dwarfs planets (like Pluto) and we have more than one dwarf planet. We learned so much at our field trip. You should go too.
Exploring the Moon and Earth
By Gavin and Addie
Hello it is Gavin and Addie writing about the Solar System.
Did you know that the first thing on the moon was a Monkey? Crazy right, well, we’re just kidding (a monkey actually did go in space, but not on the moon). Neil Armstrong was actually the first human to land on the moon.
Earth is the only planet we can live on:) We also learned that you can’t land on “gas giants” because they have gases, there’s no solid ground. There are four dwarf planets, and one is Pluto, which we all know!!!!!!!!!

Similes in Writing
By Sara & Anna
If you are a father, go find someone else’s blog entry to look at! This entry is TOP SECRET!!! NO fathers may read this!!!!!
Ok. Hi, Mom’s and siblings of the world! The top secret entry that no fathers are allowed to see is that we are writing stories for them for father’s day, but don’t be jealous, Moms, we made you a whole MAGAZINE!!! The book will be called I Love You the {color} est. We had to think of things that were the color that we picked. Some examples for blue are
1- I love you the color of a peacock’s soft feathers swaying in the breeze.
2- I love you as blue as a diamond sparkling in the sunshine
You get it? GOOD!!!!
Soon, we are going to come up with a whole story to incorporate the similes into. Cool, huh? Keep reading our blog for updates- but NOT fathers!
