God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in danger. Therefore we will not fear.....The Lord Almighty is our fortress the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalm 46: 1-2, 11
Church Attendance:
A firm foundation, whether literal or figurative, is critical in our lives. The most important piece of that foundation is God’s Word. It is a privilege for us to have the opportunity to teach your children about God’s Word and how we can use it in our lives, but that should not be the only time that our children hear about all of the wonderful things we have through Jesus. Going to your home church regularly and joining fellow believers in formal worship should be a part of all our lives. Salem has church services on Thursday evening at 7 PM and Sunday morning at 8:00 and 10:30. Our procedures and platforms to preach God's Word has changed, but the message we preach is the same: God sent his son to live, die, and rise again for us. We have eternal life in heaven through him.
You can sign up for live church services at http://www.salemowosso.org. Click on the dates and use SignUpGenuius to pick a date and time to worship in person. You can also join Salem for our live-stream service on YouTube. The live-stream service begins at 10:30 on Sundays. Click on the link below to take you to our YouTube channel. While there, browse through our weekly devotions.

Girls Basketball
The girls' basketball season is coming to an end. We have had a great season and our Lady Cardinals have played very hard. A special thanks to Coach Aschenbrenner and Coach Weber for helping with our program. We set goals every season and those goals are always focused on playing hard, improving as individuals and as a team, and having fun. By those standards, we are looking back on a very successful season. Not only did the girls grow together, but they also represented themselves, Salem, and their Savior wonderfully. There is only one more in-season game. Look for more information to come regarding our post-season tournaments. Thank you for all of your support this season and for the understanding and cooperation, you showed through this exceptional season.

If you have any photos from this year's sporting events, please email the school office at school@salemowosso.org. The pictures may be featured in the school yearbook, the newsletter, or our school website.
MLS Musical
Michigan Lutheran Seminary is proud to announce our fall musical, In-Laws, Outlaws, and Other People (That Should Be Shot), coming to you November 20-22, 2020.
Desperate to hide out from the police, two small-time crooks - Tony and Vinny - take the Douglas family hostage right as they're sitting down to a Christmas dinner! But Tony is clearly flying by the seat of his pants and Vinny is too dimwitted to be much help. The two bumbling criminals have the tables turned on them, becoming hostages themselves at an uncomfortable, awkward family dinner! Will the crooks escape the awkwardness or will their gooses get cooked along with the Christmas ham?
We will have limited seating available and the show will be live-streamed. You can reserve your tickets or your very own, free streaming pass at www.mlsem.org/fall-play starting on Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. We hope you will be able to join us!
