Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Showcase this Saturday!
Join us for the 2019 Shelby Showcase!
We can't wait to see everyone this Saturday the 13th for an exciting Shelby Showcase! A fun day for all ages with giveaways, entertainment, activities for the kids and an opportunity to check out and support the many businesses and organizations in Shelby County! Located at Martha Layne Collins High School from 10 am- 2 pm. Make sure you tag us on your social media#ShelbyShowcase See you Saturday!
Calling all Incoming Kindergarten Students!
Kindergarten Registration:
- Kindergarten Registration: Tuesday, April 16th from 5:00PM-7:00PM OR Wednesday, April 17th from 9:00AM-12:00PM. Bring your student for this event!
Here is what you need to bring with you to register your student:
- Proof of residence (2 items such as utility bills, copy of lease/mortgage etc)
- Immunization Certificate on a Kentucky form
- Physical Exam
- Eye Exam
- Dental Exam
- Offical Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card

Earth Day at the Shelby County Public Library
- Earth Day Celebration at the SCPL- Earth Day is coming up and we are marking the occasion with arts and crafts, celebrations, and more. Join the Shelby County Public Library for our special celebration and help them raise awareness about protecting our planet! Children will learn how to take recycled materials that they might throw out and create something new with it. Kids will also learn to make the world a brighter place by planting their own flower in a small ceramic pot to take home and grow. April 25th from 4:30-6:30 PM in the Hudson Room.
