Bayridge PS Variety Show

Dear Bayridge Families,
We are so grateful to Ms. Hart, Ms. Huntley and Mr. Chase for their organization of our variety show. We had over a half-hour of entertainment with some amazing talent of dancing, hockey, singing and piano playing. Thank you to all of the parents that supported with this as well. We were thrilled to be able to have parents in to watch the show as well!
Our students enjoyed lots of time outside this week on our yard, a field trip to Woodbine park and around our community. Kindergarten families were able to come in to celebrate the learning of their child and see a little glimpse of what their day looks like. Thanks to our kindergarten teams for offering this.
Our grade 6 classes planned a trivia event for grades 4-7. Students enjoyed a little friendly competition against one another answering questions and eating popcorn. Thank you to Mr. Etchegary and his students for planning this!
Primary classes enjoyed lots this week: they had some cycling workshops as well as a singing workshop with Gary Raspberry.
We have many field trips on Monday, Grad and Beach Day on Tuesday and our last day of school on Wednesday - we are asking everyone to wear their Bayridge shirts on Wednesday!
Happy weekend!

School Advisory Council
We are fortunate to partner with Play! Gaming and Entertainment for fundraising. As part of our role in this amazing opportunity, we need volunteers able to do training (an online portal as well as a 2-hour in-person shadow and call back training) and then volunteer to fill 2-hour shifts in person at the Bingo hall on Bath Rd. We as a school only need to do 2 shifts per month to keep our funding so the more volunteers we can get on our roster the less we will call on you. At this time we only have 2 active trained volunteers. We are in desperate need of more volunteers!!! Please email Meg Redmond at megcarrharris@hotmail.com for more details on dress requirements, training and commitment if you are interested!
