FOCUS of the Week
Writing: I can read and analyze the characteristics of poetry.
Reading: I can discuss and analyze elements of a poem.
Math: I will decompose 2 congruent 2D figures into equal areas and express the shapes as unit fractions. I will recognize that equal shares of the same whole do not need to have the same shape. We will begin to work on identifying equivalent fractions using models.
Social Studies: I can identify ways of earning, spending, saving, and donating money.
Science: I will observe and describe the physical characteristics of environments and how they support populations and communities of plants and animals in an ecosystem.
Daily Take-Home Folders for Face-2-Face Learners
We are also tracking and communicating behaviors through the daily folder. If your child receives a behavior mark, it will be documented in the folder. Please initial/sign anytime your child receives a mark. This helps us know that you saw the mark.
If the folder comes home with nothing on the calendar page for that day, that's great news and your student had a good day!
