Guided Reading Lessons

Guided Reading...what does it look like, feel like, sound like? We will explore Guided Reading instruction in the primary and intermediate grades, with an emphasis on strategies to meet students needs, and help you establish guided reading structures that you can use immediately within your classroom.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Participants will see what an effective guided reading lesson looks like in primary and intermediate.
  • Participants will understand how they can select and utilize reading strategies to meet the needs of students.
  • Participants will be able to scaffold a 15-20 minute Guided Reading lesson.

This session will be held in the Teleconference Center at CESA 10.

Registration will begin at 8:30, and the workshop will begin promptly at 9:00.

This Title I Network session will be offered at no cost.
