It's A Great Day to Be a Cardinal!
September 16-20
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you had a great weekend . It is hard to believe how quickly the weeks are going by. Interims will be coming home this Friday. Please take some time to go over your child's progress so far this quarter.
In TLC this week, your child will be taking the VIA survey which will identify their five top traits. Hopefully they will share these traits with you, and I will work on sending a parent survey so you can find out what your top traits are as well. When students are able to talk about these positive qualities they can tap into some of the traits that may require a little more effort while building on their stronger strengths. They will be taking their surveys on Tuesday.
Have a great week and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Why It's Important to See and Nurture the Best In Your Child
This is a great article that talks about focusing on your child's strengths will benefit them in four ways:
1. It helps them reach their full potential
2. It builds on kids well-being
3. Kids improve faster when working on strengths
4. It fosters a better parent-child connection
Take a moment to read the full article to learn more.
Final Forms
If you and/or your child haven't had the opportunity to complete your final forms please try to update them as soon as possible.
Box Tops
Charge the Chromebooks!
Please make sure your child gets in the habit of charging their chrome books each evening. It is important that they come to school prepared and the chrome books are as important to class as bringing paper and pencils. They will need their computers to fully participate in instruction in most classes.
