The symptoms of a stress fracture results in a dull pain around the site of the fracture. The pain gets worse by more and more exercise
Diagnosis
The Doctor will give you a thorough physical exam. It can sometimes be helpful. X-Rays are used to detect the stress fracture. Doctors use many MRIs, Nuclear bones scans or other sophisticated imaging technique to found out the problem is.
Treatment
If the stress fracture is just a mild facure the doctor will give crutches. And if worse it will require surgery where the doctor might have to use large screws to hold the hip more in tacked. Lots of rest is given after surgery almost about 6 - 8 weeks.
