Pillar Falls Elementary
January Newsletter
Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful break and are ready for the new year! We are looking forward to a great second semester!
Car Line Reminders
Cold winter weather means our car line is a little bit longer! Please review the following reminders to keep our line moving safely and effectively. The line works great when everyone is considerate and follows the guidelines! Our line has been running smoothly thanks to your cooperation!!!! Thanks!
- Students should not arrive before 7:30 if they are eating breakfast. If they are not eating breakfast at school, students should not arrive before 7:45. Playground supervision begins at 7:45.
- Please try to arrive before the tardy bell at 8:05. You have been doing a great job with getting students to class on time! Keep up the great work!
- While in the car line, please pull forward as much as possible so that students can enter and exit their cars quickly and safely.
- You might consider picking up your child at 3:05-3:10. Parents who arrive 5-10 minutes after the dismissal bell don't have to wait in line! They just pull right up and load their students without waiting!
- Finally, please be kind and respectful to the staff members on duty. They are working hard to keep your students safe during pick-up and drop-off!
Thanks for all of your help with our car line! We appreciate everyone doing their part!
