History of Men's Fashion in the 30s
Inspiration for men's fashion in the 30s came from British Guard Officers overcoats. Men used shoulder pads to keep the angular shoulder shape. Their coat angled down to the waist creating a V shape from neck to their waist. Even more V shape appeared on the 1930s men's topcoats and suit coats.
The Ideal Man in the 30s
The ideal man in the 30s was the athletic body. Clothing was reflected with extra broad shoulders , thin wastes, and tampered legs. They normally wore fitted suits with ties, suspenders, hats (fedoras), and had short hair.

In the 1930s era, men had a short cut in the back, in the sides of the hair and longer on the top of the head. One of the most seen hairstyles back then are the Off- Center Part ( short cropped haircut, shaped into an off centered part), and Bob ( bangs, the tail and the sides had the same length and covered all the sides in equal length). The last hairstyle that you would see are the longer hairstyles.
