We have started our last section of the Chemistry Unit. This section covers physical and chemical changes as well as acids and bases. We will not have a test this week. Students will be doing some hands on activities. Please ask your child to share these experiences with you.
White + White
Students enjoyed mixing calcium chloride, baking soda, and phenol red.

I loved watching their smiling faces as they, themselves reacted to what they saw.
= YELLOW??
This chemical reaction caused an unexpected color change, a rise in temperature, and a gas formation that filled their Ziploc bags. Science is FUN!
