Career Fair and Dress For Success

The annual Career Fair is around the corner! We are looking forward to a great learning experience for our students. As a reminder, students will need to bring a clipboard and pencil with them to the gym. You will have the interview question sheets ahead of time so students can look over the questions before they come to the Fair. Students should also plan to "dress for success" on this day. Thank you!

Tight-Pants Part II

If you weren't here for the Erik's and I interpretation of tight pants a couple years ago, you really missed something. Here is a reboot from a couple of nights ago on Jimmy Fallon.
"Tight Pants" with Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell & Christina Aguilera

  • Heather Watkins and the second grade teachers for building their own star lab!
  • To Jessica Szymanski - thanks for setting up and inviting Tebo the Tooth. The kids really enjoyed themselves and everyone should take dental hygiene seriously!
  • Third grade is getting recognized for their great work on PBL - see comment below from another third grade teacher from the county:
  • Good evening...or morning Athena,

Just wanted to say thanks so much for sharing the "DINO" unit. We just completed the unit and had a "museum visit" from all 3rd grade classes and the admin team over the last 2 days. The students loved the study and felt like real paleontologists as they presented their projects. It was great to hear students from other classes asking my students how they knew so much and then hearing them ask their teachers if they could do a research project! Another interesting moment was when I asked my students to reflect, and they were so honest about great moments but also issues that occurred which showed we needed more work on collaboration skills!!! Thanks again for sharing.

  • Teachers and Staff, thank you for your enthusiastic participation in Kindness Week!
