Speaking of blessings-we have been overcome with the generosity of people in our town. Thanks to Lisa Gragg and Auld Family Denistry combined with Brigg's Printing we have paper!!! Lisa listened to the thought God placed on her heart and everything just snowballed from there. Thank you to every community member that helped us get the paper we all needed!!! You have no idea how much this has meant to everyone in our school district.
Thanks to:
- Nancy Scherman from Foster Flowers for donating money to us to paint our benches and flagpole. We will do this as soon as the weather cools down! Nancy takes good care of our school all year long!
- Allen and Ann from Mann's Flowers for brightening every staff member's day by bringing us beautiful plants!
- Malo Webb for providing us with cool calendar magnets for each family! Come to our Meet and Greet August 25th to get yours!
- Grandpa James Garigin for donating money to help us with any needs we have! He always comes through for us!!
- Peggy Majors for donating money to help our school. She is so kind to help us every year!
- Red Hat Ladies for bringing us awesome school supplies!
- Candlewood Suites for bringing us more awesome school supplies!
- McDonald's on the turnpike for bringing us cool bags of school supplies!
- Jason Green for donating rocks to us for our butterfly garden/outdoor reading room. When we are done, it will be wonderful. It's still a work in progress-all of us are!
- Casey Murray for helping us design the butterfly garden/outdoor reading room. He spent days in the heat laying rock. He also designed our metal tree!
- Shared Blessings for helping with backpacks and supplies!
- Choctaw Nation for helping our Native American children with backpacks and supplies!
- First Baptist Church for providing every staff member with a yummy lunch, cool prizes, and gift bags for everyone. Your prayers are coveted here.
And of course, a big thanks to every parent, friend, and grandparent that made sure your child had all of their supplies. It's very expensive to get everything on the list-I had three grandchildren to help gather supplies for this year-I totally get it! We just appreciate everything you do to help your child succeed! Our children are the most precious resource we have-it takes our entire community to help raise them! Looks like we are definitely on the right track in McAlester, Oklahoma!!
