*****************************SEL Action Item***************************
Activity: Positive Self-Talk
Instructions:
Explain that self-talk are the thoughts that run through your head. Sometimes you can have negative self-talk that makes you feel bad. But positive self-talk is powerful and can make you feel good!
PK – 2
Facilitate the activity with the whole class. Have the class turn negative self-talk examples into positive self-talk.
3 – 5
Teachers may need to complete an example before having students complete the worksheet in groups or independently. Students will work to turn negative self-talk into positive self-talk.
