CBA Elementary Lion Link 🐾
Your link between home and school | October 20, 2023
Hello CBA Families,
Welcome to your weekly edition of Lion Link, your link between home and school! This week's newsletter is chock full of upcoming events and reminders. Be sure to bookmark it, or save it to your home screen, to refer back to it throughout the week.
Each quarter, Spring Education Group (SEG) school leaders from various states meet in person for meetings, trainings and sharing of best practices. On October 24 and 25th, our school will be hosting the fall Regional Meeting!
The host school gets the opportunity to showcase their school community. Of course, this is something that CBA loves to do! During the two-day visit, SEG leaders will tour the school and visit our campus to learn about our community. Our daily schedule may be adjusted to accommodate the various parts of the program that we are showcasing but this isn’t something that you need to worry about. The team has been planning for weeks, and this week we have been working with the students to prepare, as they are the reason our school is so great!
A few of our older students will be participating in special parts of our showcase and Mrs. Capotrio and their teachers will be reaching out shortly.
We would like to ask for your support with a few items:
- Please be on time for school. The academic day beings at 8:30am.
- Students should dress in full CBA uniform. All students should wear their regular uniforms on both days. Students who have P.E. class will still wear regular uniforms. P.E. class will be adjusted slightly. No sneakers or leggings under shorts, please.
- Remind your child that these days are special days and we will be having visitors who want to learn about our school.
- Share in our excitement! This is a huge opportunity for us to tell our CBA story!
Thank you for being such great partners!
