Parents: We need your help! We know car rider lines can get long. Please be sure to allow ample time when dropping your students off at school! Thank you!

Student ID Reminder
If students need a replacement ID they can report to their alpha pod where directions on purchasing a new one can be given.
ID Checks will begin taking place during 2nd period next week!

News from the TMHS National Honor Society
Applications for 2022-2023 on their way!
Eligible candidates will receive their NHS application packets on Monday, February 28th through their English classes. If you are eligible, (96% or higher GPA on the last class rank) you will receive a packet that needs to be completed with all necessary signatures and turned in to Mrs. Juliano by 4:00 pm on March 23rd, 2022. Please refer to the timeline below for important information:
February 28th - Eligible candidates receive NHS application packet via English teacher
March 7th - Application packet Informational Meeting 7:00 am and 3:30 pm in room #1351
March 9th - Application packet Informational Meeting at 3:30 pm in room #1351 (note only one meeting)
March 23rd - Applications due to Mrs. Juliano by 4:00 in room #1351
April 18th - MANDATORY Induction Ceremony at 6:00 in the TMHS Auditorium

Attention Seniors!
For all senior information, please refer to emails from Mrs. Henry. These are emailed to parents. You can also access information on the TMHS website by following THIS LINK.
Senior Parents: If you haven't already, don't forget to order your Senior's Cap and Gown and Graduation Announcements. CLICK HERE! It is still possible to order, however, the cost has increased by $7 for the Cap and Gown Package.
Graduation! TMHS Class of 2022 Graduation ceremony will be held at Reed Arena on the campus of Texas A&M on Friday, May 27 at Noon. There isn't a limit to the number of people you can invite and there are no tickets. Seating will be first come first serve.
Caps and Gowns/Invitations: The invitations will be delivered mid-April and be distributed at all lunches. The Cap and Gown will be delivered April 12, 2022.
We had an informational meeting this week regarding the 2022 Powder Puff Game. All Sign-ups are due to Mrs. Henry's office by Friday, March 11, as well as returning the parent permission slip form. The player draft will be the Tuesday after Spring Break (March 22nd). All forms are on the TMHS Website under the Student and Families tab-------> Seniors.

Community Service Hours
The community service tracker is now available in TISD Student Link. Students who are interested in earning a service cord to be worn at graduation must enter their service hours in Student Link.

Student Parking All students utilizing campus parking must have their parking permit tag visible in their vehicle while parked on school grounds. Any student without a visible parking permit is not allowed to park on school grounds. Student Cell Phone Reminders
- Cell phones may be used during class for instructional purposes and in accordance with each teacher’s guidelines. Please note that teachers may choose to prohibit cell phone use in their classrooms.
- Cell phones may be used before and after school, between class periods, and during lunch as long as students follow TISD acceptable use guidelines.
Student Dress Code
We will continue to enforce our dress code policies per the TISD Student handbook with an emphasis continuing on the following items:
- All students must wear clothing that adequately covers the body. Shorts and/or skirts must reach the mid-thigh. Spaghetti straps, strapless, backless, see-through and low-cut tops are not allowed. Tops must cover the midriff.
- All male students must be clean-shaven and may not display any piercings including the ear.
- Students are not allowed to wear hats, bandanas, or other head coverings.
- Student hair must be that of natural color. Students that need to address this particular portion can meet with their Assistant Principal to discuss a solution and timeline.
