Message from Mrs. Cohen, Arrowhead School Counselor

CNN partnered with Sesame Street for a special town hall about coronavirus, focused on kids and parents. "The ABC's of Covid 19: A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Parents" tackled issues including education, anxiety, screen time and playdates. The 90-minute town hall featured experts and Sesame Street characters -- including Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Rosita and Grover -- answering questions submitted by families. Big Bird joined CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and CNN anchor and national correspondent Erica Hill to moderate the event.

Arrowhead students learning virtually

Dear Arrowhead families,

Our students and families continue to work very hard during this pandemic. Students and teachers expressed their excitement in being able to reconnect using zoom this week. Keep up the great work...students, teachers, and families! We are so proud of you!

Arrowhead Alumni Update and Kind Gesture for Covid 19 patients

Former Arrowhead student, Julie Prager, has asked for assisstance with a project to help cheer up and support hospitalized Covid 19 and other seriously ill patients who are not allowed to have visitors. Julie and her brother Stephen both attended Arrowhead; her mother, Sue Prager, is a retired Arrowhead and Eagleville teacher; and her father, Barry Prager, was a music teacher and principal at Methacton High School.

Julie is now an ER doctor in South Carolina working with Covid 19 and other seriously ill patients. She is asking for homemade get well cards that the doctors and nurses can laminate and hang in patients' rooms. The cards need to be made on a flat piece of printer paper, construction paper, or poster board no larger than 8 1/2 X 11 inches. The card can be a simple get well message with a colorful picture. Letters can be mailed to Julie at the address below, and she will distribute them to three hospitals with which she is affiliated.

Julie shared the cards she has received from our Arrowhead families so far! She sends our community a heartfelt thank you!
