Community Connections
SXSW Edu & SX Create
SXSW has officially started this week, starting with its Edu portion, a truly international event that brings together leaders, researchers and educators to focus on improving the learning experiences for our students.
Today's keynote by autism activist (and Maker fan) Temple Grandin is on Helping Different Kinds of Minds Solve Problems and tomorrow's is by Aya Bdeir, CEO of littleBits (which we have in the d.lab) on The Role of Maker Ed in Schools.
I'll be presenting this Wednesday and Saturday, and we'll have an SGSC Maker Ed table at SX Create this weekend as well. Parents, students, and teachers are welcome to attend!
