Important Dates and Reminders!
Please note several important dates and changes for our fall schedules:
Homecoming 2021 is October 8th. Rock the Block Parade will be on Wednesday, October 6th, and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 9th.
Fine Arts Senior Night: We will celebrate our Fine Arts Seniors on Friday, October 29th at the home football game (moved from October 8th).
TMHS Open House will be held on Monday, September 20th from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to follow their students' schedules and visit each of their teachers and classrooms. Students, be sure to get your parents a copy of your schedule from HAC so they know where to go! The schedule for the evening is as follows:
5:30-6:00- Cafeteria- Organizations Fair
5:55- Parents released to the classrooms
6:00-6:10- 1st period
6:17-6:27- 2nd period
6:34-6:44 3rd Period
6:51- 7:01 4th Period
7:08- 7:18- 5th Period
7:25-7:35- 6th Period
7:42- 7:52 7th Period
PSAT/MNSQT Testing:

October 13, 2021- PSAT/NMSQT Exam will be offered to 10th and 11th grade students. No registration is necessary.
More Homecoming 2021 details are coming soon! The TMHS Homecoming Dance is scheduled for Saturday, October 9th! Students, if you are bringing an outside guest, be sure to complete THIS form and submit to your AP's office by September 25th!
Student Dress Code
We will continue to enforce our dress code policies per the TISD Student handbook with an emphasis continuing on the following items:
- All students must wear clothing that adequately covers the body. Shorts and/or skirts must reach the mid-thigh. Spaghetti straps, strapless, backless, see-through and low-cut tops are not allowed. Tops must cover the midriff.
- All male students must be clean-shaven and may not display any piercings including the ear.
- Students are not allowed to wear hats, bandanas, or other head coverings.
- Student hair must be that of natural color. Students that need to address this particular portion can meet with their Assistant Principal to discuss a solution and timeline.

The TMHS PTO Membership Drive is in full swing!
Attention Seniors!
Senior Painted Parking Spots: Seniors who have signed up for Senior Parking will have 2 opportunities to paint their spot on Saturday, September 18th from 8:30-1:00pm and again on Tuesday, September 21st from 3:30 - 7:30. Painted parking spots are no longer available for purchase. All painting guidelines can be found HERE.
Financial Aid Night: October 5, 2021- Completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid which is now a high school requirement.
College Knowledge Night: November 9, 2021- College representatives present on a variety of topics from college admissions, specific majors, etc.
Trash Bag Sales Fundraiser: The Senior Trash bag fundraiser was launched last week! The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide funds for the 2022 Senior Prom. The cost of the prom is approximately $40,000. We want to be able to plan and provide a beautiful, memorable 2022 senior prom. Senior participation in the fundraiser is critical. Seniors who sell 16 rolls will receive a free prom ticket and two free prom tickets if they sell 32 rolls. Each roll is $12.00.
Senior Portraits: Seniors must have taken their senior portraits with Prestige Photography by November 6, 2021. You may contact Prestige at 281-897-8300 to schedule an appointment.

Reminder: All SPO Meeting dates for the 2021-22 school year can be found online.
- Any pre-ordered spirit gear (signs, clear bags, shirts) may be picked up at this time. Items will also be available for sale, while supplies last.
- Don't forget about Wine Wednesday! Wine Donations will be accepted outside of campus before Wednesday's meeting.
Denim & Diamonds, 10/16/21
- Save the Date! SPO's annual Denim and Diamonds Casino Night Fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021. We are still in need of sponsors for food, wine pull, Silent Auction, raffle prize donations, etc!
- If you are interested in donating a silent auction item, but are worried about the cost, split with a friend or 2! Be creative! Please check out the SPO website to sign up or to reach out to our Committee Chairs, Tammy Kelley or Mary Vatuna to donate!
- Denim & Diamond tickets will be on sale before/after SPO Meetings!
- Senior Picnic will be held October 13th at Burroughs Park, in Tomball. We are searching for donations of bottled water, chips, snacks, or gift cards to grocery stores or wholesale clubs to purchase items to make this event successful. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, please reply to this email.
- We will need many volunteers to make this event successful, sign-up genius will be posted and distributed in the coming weeks.
- Every item donated earns your student a raffle ticket for Project Prom Drawings. Every $10 value = 1 ticket! (one $20 bottle of wine, or $15 large box of chips = 2 tickets each!).
- SPO is hosting its first Spirit Night next week! Join us at Raising Cane's in Tomball on Wednesday, 9/22 from 3pm-10pm. Mention the attached flyer, or TMHS SPO. 15% of those mentioned sales will be donated back to our organization.
We know there is a lot going on the next few weeks, but appreciate all your support in making this an incredible year for our Seniors!

Attention Class of 2023!
Important dates regarding Class Rings!
Week of September 7th - 13th:
Students had the opportunity to receive information regarding the class rings during their Wildcat Den time. Juniors that want to order rings will pick up a packet from their Alpha Pod.
September 20th - Balfour (the class ring vendor) will have a table at Open House where students can turn their packets in and try on rings.
September 21st - Balfour will be set up in the cafeteria for students to turn in ordering packets.
September 22nd - Balfour will be set up in the cafeteria for students to turn in ordering packets- last chance!
The delivery date for those who order rings is to be determined, but they should arrive in time for Christmas!
