Farewell Mr. King - A PHS Giant
Starting in 1965 at PHS, Mr. King shaped the program, a legacy that his former students, Kim Arntz and Jake Dunn, carry on today. It is one of the traditions of PHS that we are very proud of. On behalf of the PHS community, thank you, Mr. King.

Seasons Ending...
Varsity Football traveled to Martinez and competed well into the second half in the NCS Playoffs. A QB keeper by Brendan White and a 64 yard scamper by Luke Wheless kept the Trojans right there, but a couple of stout defensive stands by Alhambra on 4th down and a talented receiver broke the game open. We are very proud of Coach Krist and the boys for the effort. It was inspiring to listen to Coach Krist post game address the boys for their effort and commitment...
Girls Volleyball took a strong Acalanes team to four sets in the East Bay before exiting the NCS quarters. The set scores were tight throughout, including 27-25 in the fourth. One of those matches that could have gone either way. Coach Brown and the girls had a nice run. Well done!
Girls soccer never stopped competing against a Montgomery Viking team stacked with D1 prospects. After falling behind midway through the first half, Gabby Lemos equalized. Eventually, the Vikings went ahead in the second half, but right up till the end, the Trojans were peppering the Viking goal. Coach Daly should be very proud!
Boys and Girls Cross Country head to the NCS Meet in Hayward this Saturday. Some may go on to qualify for the state meet in Fresno November 29th. Good luck runners!
