End of the Year Divine Liturgy

Thank you to Father Damian and Holy Trinity for hosting the students and staff of St. Mary's for our end-of-the-year Divine Liturgy. It was so great to be in the house of God and celebrate the Ukrainian Rite. For many of our students, this was their first time in Holy Trinity and it was a special time together as Father blessed the school year that we had and the ones to come. What a blessing to have both Father Damian and Father Robert in our community!

EXAM WEEK INFORMATION

Students in junior high (7-9) require written consent to be given to acknowledge that parents are aware that their child is leaving and not in school. These permission forms were sent home last Friday (June 10th)... please have them back to the school by this Thursday. if your student forgot the form you can print off a copy by clicking the LINK HERE. Some junior high and high school students do stay in school because of rural bussing and for extra help. If they wish to remain on-site, they must remain in the study hall classroom. Students in grades 10-12 do not require permission to leave after their exam during exam week.

If you have any questions about Exam Week please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Please return library books and textbooks

As the school year comes to an end, it is important that all library materials are due back before final exams. This includes novel studies and reading novels. If items are not returned, the cost of the item will be added to the student’s PowerSchool account. Fees will begin to be added for overdue materials on June 16. Please check with your student that all items are returned on time. Items can be returned to the library book bin or the office book bin.

As many people in our society mark Pride Month, St. Mary's Catholic School and our school division reaffirms our foundational belief that all children are loved by God, are individually unique and that we have a mission to help each student to fulfill their God-given potential in all aspects of their person. All are welcome. All belong. All receive outstanding Catholic education offered with respect, compassion and sensitivity. We continue to support the Catholic mission, vision, and core religious values of the school and the school division in our service to students, and to the community.
