Strategic Plan to be Updated
Partnering with our community is the best way to learn about Tuscaloosa City Schools' strengths and opportunities for improvement. That is why we’re empowering our stakeholders to help set district priorities, open lines of communication, and hold us accountable for the success of our students.
We need to hear from all stakeholders in our Strategic Plan Survey which will be offered May 19-29. It is essential we hear from you about our expectations for teaching and learning, workplace and culture, and a welcoming environment.
The planning began during the summer of 2019 with an analysis of the current strategic plan. Stakeholder engagement began in August of 2019 with a session for Board of Education members continued in January and February of 2020 with a series of stakeholder focus groups. Adjustments to the timeline were made due to COVID-19. The themes identified during the stakeholder engagement phase will support the development and revisions to the new strategic plan.
The survey is offered in English and Spanish. Please check your email for an invitation and survey link next week.

Book Returns
Have library books you need to return? Drop them off at one of our city school locations and place in the marked return cans at school entrances. Families with students in multiple schools may drop all library books at one location. This only applies to city school library books, NOT books you may have received in meal pickup lines.
