MESSAGE FROM ADMINISTRATION
Hello SPMA Families!
We are settled into our routines and learning every day. Students enjoy going to Music, PE, Science, Social Studies, Library and having lessons with our counselors. We see the great work they are doing each day. We are looking forward to seeing you at conferences on November 6, 9, and 10. We appreciate your support as we team together to ensure your student is successful.

INFORMATION TO KNOW
On Monday, November 6 we will be hosting a vaccine clinic in our cafeteria. Come get this season's flu shot! The clinic is right after dismissal and on the same day as the first night of conferences. It should be easy for you to stop and get the shot.
Book Fair
The Book Fair is back! It will run throughout Conference Week (Monday-Friday, November 6-10) in the library. Come shop for a new book or gift idea. Families can visit during conferences and students will have opportunities to shop during the school day. Beyond getting a new book, you'll be supporting the school since a portion of each purchase helps us get new materials in the library.
MNSure Renewals
Renewals are now required annually to stay current with medical assistance. They were suspended during the emergency phase of the pandemic, but we are now in a new phase and renewals are needed. Renewal forms are sent in the mail and ask for updated information. Look out for the forms or reach out to our Family Center if you have questions.
Eye Care and Clinics
- Do you need help finding an eye doctor for your child?
- Do you need to replace a broken or lost pair of glasses?
- Do you need help getting a second pair of glasses to keep at school?
- Do you need transportation or an interpreter for your appointment to the eye doctor?
Free vision services are available through the Phillips Eye Institute. Call Phillips Eye and leave a message in your language with your name and phone number, and someone from the Institute will call you back to help you.
