Friday Focus
A boost of energy better than Halloween candy!
Are you ready for the "Unfiltered Reality" edition
What a busy weekend
So, beyond the regular duties of talking with kids, scheduling, giving tours, teaching lessons, supervision, interviewing witnesses, reporting incidents, helping keep track of all things school, and so much more they have found time to make a fantastically fun weekend for many kids.
Friday afternoon at 3:30 Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Moore hosted a Lock-In for our 6th graders. Below are a few pictures of the games that they played. The games were all connected to how big tobacco companies work to get us hooked on products and become life-long customers. After the lock in they hosted a haunted dance which was a huge success! Saturday was spent prepping for the Unfiltered Reality Trunk or Treat that has become a community favorite! As you can see from the pictures, it was raining but that didn't stop them from handing out candy.
If these two gals seem a bit tired this last week it was because they have been going non-stop! They would never admit to it, but most of our incoming students have a positive view of MMS because of Trunk or Treat and the all the hard work that they pour into this event, or because of Mrs. Olson countless visits to the elementary schools, or Mrs. Moore's memorable tours of MMS. Be sure to thank Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Olson for all they do for MMS; and I am not talking just in October either!
