Book Club

This year I started a book club during lunch that meets once a month. We have read the following books, the titles in blue have a link to a book trailer: Refugee by Alan Gratz, The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen, Harbor Me by Jacqueline Woodson, Sweep by Jonathan Auxier, Bomb: The Race to Build - and - Steal the World's Most Dangerous Weapon by Steve Sheinkin, Devil's Arithmetic by Jane Yolen (also a movie), Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes.

The last book sixth graders read was The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise by Dan Gemeinhart. With everyone being at home the author is starting an online book club, check it out here. He will read the first few chapters so if you like it you can check it out upon returning to school.

One of my favorite authors!
