Message from the Principal πŸ’›

I want to give a shout out to the Softball team πŸ₯Ž on making it to playoffs! They played hard on Saturday, and even though they weren't able to secure a win, I'm so proud of how far they have come this season! Great job, ladies! πŸ‘πŸ½ I'd also like to congratulate the JV basketball team πŸ€ for winning their consolation game on Saturday! πŸ€— You guys worked hard and played together as a team...great job! I'm looking forward to great things next year!

We are finally in November and that means there are 9 school days (4 this week and 5 next week) before Thanksgiving Break. Let's make these 9 days count, Vikings! Remember, you must pass all of your classes in order to participate in the Promotion ceremony at the end of 8th grade! So it is better to be safe than sorry and do the work NOW to keep your grades afloat! You got this, Vikings! πŸ’›

Have any suggestions for Music Monday songs? 🎀 Send me an email and I'll add it to my playlist! Congrats to Mr. Ceniceros' Advisory for winning Week 14's Music Monday! πŸ€— Is your Advisory going to win this week? 🎢

Let's make it a great week, Vikings!!

Take care,

Ms. Scott

On Thursday, the library hosted a Dia de los Muertos event for our students throughout the day and during lunch! πŸ€— Classes visited and toured the ofrendas, did a scavenger hunt, and learned about the history of Dia de los Muertos!πŸ•― At lunch, they were able to get face tattoos, make flowers, and take selfie with a special guest (I got one!).
