School Closure

Thank you to families, students, staff and our whole community for coming together last week and helping our students continue their learning online. Though we miss our students terribly, it has been great to continue learning on Zoom and Google Classroom.

Teachers have done a great job communicating expectations to students and families. Both live Zoom and independent work are expected to keep up the learning and receive attendance credit. Students are required to Zoom in the morning with their classes and continue asynchronous work throughout the afternoons. Students are expected to participate in Zoom lessons with microphones and cameras. Please help your child find a quiet spot to interact with his/her classmates and complete school work. After Zoom, students are expected to complete all Google Classroom assignments. If you have any questions, please first reach out to your child's teacher. Next, you are welcome to contact the MES office, and we can help however we can.

If your child got behind with schoolwork, it's not too late to catch up. Please work with them and their teacher to prioritize late work.

We appreciate everyone's efforts during this difficult time, and we look forward to welcoming our students back on campus soon.

Attendance Hotline

Please call our attendance hotline to report your child’s absence @ 760-934-7162. If your child’s absence is not reported, it is considered unexcused.

Ski and Snowboard Information

With cooperation between families, staff and MMSA, we have been able to successfully start a modified ski and snowboard PE program! It was great to have students out on the hill participating in MEST and PE. This week, we will add on to the modified program with the addition of modified cross country ski pe.
