Jeff State Presidential Honors Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2024
Jefferson State Presidential Honors Scholarship
Deadline: April 1, 2024
Tuition and fees scholarship for up to 15 hours a semester for 6 semesters
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester senior year
- Have a 22 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores must be on file with Admissions by the April 1st deadline
- Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2024 prior to submitting the scholarship application
- Submit a copy of their high school transcripts showing their grades and GPA after the first semester of their senior year

Jeff State Ambassador Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2024
DEADLINE for application is April 1, 2024.
Ambassadors will be chosen by a selection committee based on some of the following criteria: application, interview, GPA, leadership skills, interest in student involvement, and future goals.
What you need to know before applying – Ambassador Required Duties:
- Have applied to and been accepted to Jefferson State for the Fall 2023 semester or be a continuing student in good standing
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better each semester
- Abide by the JSCC Ambassador Demerit System and Code of Conduct
- Be considered a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester excluding the summer term)
- Host various college events (receptions, graduation ceremonies, conferences, etc.)
- Work a minimum of 5 hours per week in a designated area (as assigned by the Ambassador Advisors)
- Assist with New Student Orientations & Preview Days
- Conduct campus tours
- Attend Leadership Conferences and Seminars
- Attend an annual Ambassador Retreat
- Help coordinate and participate in fundraising events
- Travel to various Jefferson State Campuses
- Be available for daytime, evening, and weekend events
Young Women in Public Affairs Award - Deadline April 1, 2024
Young Women in Public Affairs Award - $5,000 - 37 Awards (Deadline: April 1, 2024)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Be a women, ages 16-19 on April 1, living in a Zonta district/region.
B) Demonstrate evidence of at least one of the following: Active commitment to volunteerism, experience in
local government, student government, or workplace leadership.

Jeff State Counselor's Scholarship - Academic - Deadline April 12th
This scholarship is for a current senior who is planning to attend Jeff State in the fall. This is only for students planning to take academic courses in the fall, not for student planning to pursue classes in a career technical pathway (for example: welding, child development, etc.). Pick up the application in the Guidance Office. Deadline to apply is April 12th. Completed application, essay, and resume are to be turned in to Mrs. McGill in the Guidance Office by April 12th.

This scholarship is for a current senior who is planning to attend Jeff State in the fall. This is only for students planning to take career tech courses in the fall, not for student planning to pursue an academic pathway (for example, this would apply to students wanting to do: welding, child development, etc.). Pick up the application in the Guidance Office. Deadline to apply is April 12th. Completed application, essay, and resume are to be turned in to Mrs. McGill in the Guidance Office by April 12th.

B) Be pursuing a course of study and a career in floriculture, horticulture or closely related field.

Jeff State Academic Excellence Scholarship - Deadline June 1, 2024
Academic Excellence Scholarship
Awarded to all students who meet the criteria and apply by June 1, 2024, as long as scholarship funds are available.
Deadline: June 1, 2024
- Students with a composite ACT score of 25 or higher will receive a scholarship for 9 credit hours per semester for up to 6 semesters.
- Students with a composite ACT score of 22-24 will receive a scholarship for 6 credit hours per semester for up to 6 semesters.
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester of senior year
- Have a 22 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores must be on file with Admissions by the June 1st deadline
- Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2024 prior to submitting the scholarship application

Dual Enrollment Achievement Scholarship for Graduating Seniors
Deadline: June 1, 2024
Tuition and fees scholarship for up to 6 hours a semester for 6 semesters
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester of senior year, including JSCC coursework
- Have 20 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores must be on file with Admissions by the June 1st deadline
- Successfully completed 6 or more credit hours in the JSCC Dual Enrollment program
- Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2024 prior to submitting the scholarship application
- Submit a copy of their high school transcripts showing their grades and GPA after the first semester of their senior year
