NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Countries: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom and the United States.

Warsaw Pack provides military protection from Soviet Union.

Warsaw Pact dates: 1955-1991 To provide military protection for Soviet Union and Eastern Europe against USA and NATO


The leaders of the Soviet Union in 1960 was Nikita Khrushchev.

The leader of the USA in 1960 was John F Kennedy.
