From the Principal's Desk
Bauer Families:
Great organizations seek to build teams of significance. Significance goes far beyond just being successful. Success is often fleeting and short-lived. Significance is enduring and long-lasting. Significance occurs when lives are impacted and we leave a lasting legacy.
When we focus on the things that we have total control over (i.e. attitude, effort, and actions), we increase our chances of experiencing the final results we desire . Think of this as ‘embracing the process’ of forming championship habits.
There will always be ups and downs, and we have no idea what types of specific challenges today’s young people will face in the future, but ultimately we work to equip children with the skills and character to be able to face whatever the world may throw at them.
If you haven’t had a discussion with your child about defining and building successful habits, this fall break may provide some needed down-time to have this important discussion. If you have had this discussion, fall break may be a good time to revisit these principles and evaluate how things are progressing.
Wherever you are, continue to be brave, stay strong, and keep feeding the Good Wolf as you prepare your children for the future. Teams that never lose sight of their vision, keep fighting & stay together are the ones that make it!
Have an amazing, extended weekend everyone!

Art Awesomeness
In art our students have been focusing on mastering their creativity using the Elements of Art. Pre K, Kindergarten, and First Graders have spent the last few weeks creating art with a focus on Line and Shape. Please enjoy our students' creations in the photos below! Finished projects will be displayed in our hallways before making their way home. All students have been encouraged to express themselves within their assignments, making personal decisions regarding their artwork details. We cannot wait to share more art with everyone soon!
Pre K - Rainbow Lines
