A Note from Mrs. Zellner and Mr. West
What a fun week with Nati Ninja, Randi Rico, and Greene School teachers visiting! We would like to share a special thank you to our PTO and parent volunteers for making Nati Ninja such a great event for our students this week!
It is hard to believe the end of third quarter and spring break are almost here! Please remember there is no school on Friday, March 17th, due to Teacher Records Day. The students will be provided with work to complete since that day is also designated as a Student Personal Learning Day, so please be on the lookout for more information from your child's teacher.
With the approaching break and overall general excitement of spring, we are starting to see some unkind or disrespectful behavior on the playground. We will continue to reinforce the expectations and hold students accountable for their choices, but please talk with your child at home about making good choices and being kind. Thank you for your partnership with this!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mindy and Keena

Class planning for the 23-24 school year
Dear Families,
We are excited to begin planning for the 2023-24 school year! Please complete the linked Student Information Form. This provides us with valuable information about your child’s learning style as we begin working on class placement.
The class placement process takes many hours of careful thought and consideration. We always consider the individual child while recognizing that each child is also part of a complex equation. We evaluate learning abilities, class size, social and academic strengths and challenges, diversity, as well as positive and non-constructive relationships to create balanced, high quality learning environments for all students.
We will make every effort to ensure friends are placed in the same class when possible. Rest assured that your child will see friendly and familiar faces when they return to school. Your child’s teacher knows your child well and will place them with their best interests in mind.
You can provide your child with a successful beginning to the school year by responding to their classroom assignment with positive enthusiasm. We can all work together to enhance personal development and provide a positive school climate for all.
Thank you for your understanding as we prepare for the next school year.

Note: Your child must be supervised by their parent, guardian or adult in order to attend and skate.
Can you please RSVP by Sunday, March 19 if you plan to attend? If you would like to attend and need financial assistance, please reach out to Mrs. Zellner to help cover the cost of skating. We hope to see you there!
