Note from Principal DeWolfe

The elective forecasting sheet was sent to all returning students in their school email. Please make sure that you/your student have the form turned in by Wednesday, January 12th. This will help us complete schedules and have all of your courses ready for the first day of the new semester.

For students returning to their neighborhood school next term they will contact you to complete your forecasting and scheduling.

Did you know there is a substitute shortage?

It's true and it's not just our school district. Districts across the state are having a hard time filling their open substitute positions. If there is no substitute available for a TTVA teacher we will email you that morning. The plan will be to take attendance then have students work independently that day. It is important to check your email each morning in case your teacher is out so you are aware of those next steps. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this issue.

Elementary Vision Screening

K-5 families wishing to have their child have their vision screened should contact their brick and mortar neighborhood school to schedule a time on the specified date. See dates and contact info below.

State testing opt out information

30-Day Notice and Opt-Out Information for the Oregon Statewide Assessment System (OSAS)

In 2010, Oregon adopted enhanced K-12 standards in English Language Arts and Math to ensure all students move from grade to grade with the academic knowledge and skills necessary for success beyond high school. The state tests challenge students to think critically, going beyond multiple-choice and asking them to explain their answers. These tests provide a snapshot of your student’s progress and help us identify schools that need additional supports to ensure more students meet the higher standards.

If you do NOT want your student to take the English Language Arts or Math assessment test, please complete the opt-out form found on this page. Please submit this form to your student’s school by January 14 (for students in Grade 11) or February 4 (for students in Grades 3-8). This form is only valid for the 2021-22 school year.

Important Dates Coming Up
