Hurricane Hugo roared September 22,1989, The Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and north of Charleston, South Carolina. Hugo had a Longitude of -23.700 and Latitude of 13.200 and also, It was a category 4 Hurricane and had wind speed at 140 mph. The central pressure is unknown but the highest storm tide was about 20 feet.

Total Rainfall amounts were actually low. Hugo caused 34 deaths from drowning or electrocution in the Caribbean and another 27 deaths in South Carolina. It also left 100,000 homeless and resulted in $10 billion dollars worth a damage
