Thomas Paine Elementary School

Updates

Week of 10/7

We are excited to be back online! Thank you for your patience during our email outage.

We had a wonderful Week of Respect. The students participated in events that showed respect for themselves and one another.

Also, today we were lucky enough to host the Latinos + Amigos Club from High School East for a fun, interactive assembly!

SAFETY CONCERN

Parents + Guardians - Please do not use the bus lane/circle to drop off or pick up your children. Additional cars in the morning are causing bus delays and safety concerns. Please utilize the front parking lot for students being dropped off in the morning. I appreciate your response to this concern.

October's Core Value

Respect - WE respect ourselves and others.

Please complete our Voice Survey. This very important survey provides our school with a wealth of information. All surveys need to be complete by 10/16.

PTA Happenings!

Book Fair -

We are hosting the Scholastic Book Fair from October 21st to 25th. Students are scheduled to visit by class for a Preview day and a Purchase day. We also have Family Night scheduled on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6pm to 8pm.

Please visit the Sign Up Genius below to see when your child's class is scheduled to visit. If your schedule permits, we would greatly appreciate it if you can volunteer to help during any one of the time slots. Most of the time slots are scheduled for 20 minutes.

Health Fair -

Our nurse, Mrs. Lisa Collins, would like to offer Health Fair at our school. Do we have any volunteers to be the chairperson or anyone who can help organize this event? Are there any parents who know vendors who could be a part of this?

PTA Dues -

Thank you to all parents who have submitted your PTA dues. If you haven't done so, please consider doing so. The money collected goes towards class trips, school needs, and more.
