If you enjoyed this year's Newsletter and found it helpful, give it a like! ❤️
From Mr. Stockwell
To all Middle School Students and Parents,
Thank you for all your hard work this year! We were all asked to make the best of an unknown situation. As we finish this school year there are a few things I want to make sure to communicate with you.
Our school material and netbook return days are scheduled for Monday 6/8 12:00-3:00 PM, Tuesday 6/9 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and Wednesday 6/10 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM. We ask all MS and HS students/parents to enter the northern-most driveway at the Middle School. We will have signs pointing you in the right direction. If you are unable to make any of these dates, please reach out via email and set up an appointment with me to return all school materials.
We will be posting two virtual ceremonies on our website early next week. The first is a short video recognizing our "All A" students from each grade level. These are the students that earned all A's in both the first and second trimesters. Our second virtual ceremony will be the 8th-grade Promotion Ceremony. I want to thank Mr. Derrick Price (one of our amazing technology employees) for all his hard work with our videos. They are very well done!
There are two surveys being sent out, a parent survey and a separate student survey. They are being emailed to everyone in the district seeking feedback on our distance learning plan. We will use this information to help us make decisions about what distance learning should look like IF we ever need to implement this in the future. Please check the email you associated with school messenger to take these surveys.
Finally, we are unsure how we are allowed to run orientations over the summer. Our administration is constantly monitoring the regulations and guidelines being provided by the State, CDC, and the Health Department. I will be sending out a communication to all MS parents and students as soon as I am able to make plans.
Thank you again for your flexibility and perseverance over these past few months. Please reach out if you have any questions or feedback you'd like to share.
Sincerely,
Scott Stockwell

Turn In Schedule
We have three dates and times where we would like all MS and HS families to drive up and return materials. Please select the date and time that work best for you. The dates are:
6/8 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
6/9 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
6/10 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
(If you are unable to make these times, please contact the building principal to set up an appointment)
Material Return Procedure
We ask ALL families to enter the North Entrance by the Middle School.
If you have MS students, you will stop near the 6th-grade entrance where you will be greeted by MS school staff. Check in the MS books and materials here.
Continue to drive to the back of the MS building where you will have an opportunity to stop by the East Entrance and return choir/band materials.
If you are not in choir or band, you will continue to the Athletic Entrance of the Middle School where the Technology Department staff will be waiting to collect all MS and HS netbooks.
Finally, you will continue to drive to the back of the HS Gym where you will be greeted by HS staff to check in your HS materials.
All traffic will exit the parking lots via the South HS drive. I have included a map on the bottom of this page for your convenience.
Art in Nature Club
The Art in Nature club would like to invite all Middle School students and their families to join us for a field trip to the Outdoor Discovery Center.
We will have a behind-the-scenes tour and meet some of the captive wildlife up close. There will be time to explore the trails at your own pace, romp on the playscape, and picnic at the pavilion.
(This is a club activity, not a school event. Every family must arrange their own transportation and picnic lunch.)
Date: Saturday July 25
Time: 11 am - 1 pm
Location: Outdoor Discovery Center 4214 56th St. Holland MI
