"The FMS Chorus will perform in their Fall concert on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the FMS Performance Center. The concert will be recorded and released at a later date for those who cannot attend. Audience members will be asked to distance by household, and the current state masking order will still be in effect. We hope you can make plans to attend this culmination of our first few weeks of learning in the FMS Chorus classroom. "

Florence City Schools is using Clever to help students access online learning resources from school as well as from home. The Clever Family Portal will allow parents and guardians to provide access to learning apps and websites from any device they have.
Create your account now to get access to:
- Tools to help log your child in from any device
- Access to your early learner's Clever badge to save or print (Grades K-2)
- Automatic login using Clever's Chrome extension
- Important resources from the district
You will receive an email for each individual student to whom you are linked in our systems. Your account will be connected with your child’s, and you will also get access to relevant resources curated by the Clever team and your child's school.

Second 9 weeks will begin on Monday October 12th. Schedule changes will occur over the weekend to accommodate those students who are choosing to return to traditional school. Inow will not be accessible to view beginning Saturday morning at 6am and will be turned back to view status on Sunday at 6pm. Schedule changes will not be accepted at this time. A change may only take place if there has been a mistake made in scheduling a student in the necessary courses needed for their grade level. Please review Inow Monday morning to see your most up to date schedule.
Tutoring is limited to the first 10 students (per tutor) who sign up that day.
Sign-up sheets will be located outside of the teachers' room.
Tutoring is Monday-Thursday 3:30-4:30. Parents can pick up students at the car rider line at 4:30.

IMPORTANT LIBRARY INFORMATION
PLEASE RETURN ALL OVERDUE BOOKS TO MRS. JOLLY. IF YOU HAVE BOOKS FROM HIBBETT LIBRARY, YOU MAY RETURN THEM TO HER AS WELL.
In an effort to adhere to current health and safety guidelines, open checkout has been suspended until further notice. However, students can still take advantage of the library's growing collection. They have 24/7 access to eBooks and audio books through OverDrive. If they prefer to check out a physical book, students must use Destiny Library's Hold It feature in order to request a book. The librarian will then fulfill requests and deliver them to students. The following links will access brief videos that demonstrate how to use OverDrive and Destiny Library.

FFA CHAPTER MEETING
There will be a FFA Chapter Meeting on Thursday, October 22 at 7:20 before school in the AgriScience classroom. All FFA members are invited and are encouraged to attend. We will be discussing FFA competitions and the officer team. Students may enter through the front office.
*** Any student who is currently or was previously enrolled in AgriScience may attend the meeting if they are interested in joining the FFA. ***
FBLA is accepting new members
Cost to join is $25 and includes local, state, and national dues along with a t-shirt. Please see Mrs. J. Johnson or Coach M. Johnson in the 8th grade hallway for more details and to turn in your money.
Want to attend a sporting event?
Very limited- visitors will allowed for IEP meetings, 504 meetings, and medical meetings. parent /Teacher meetings can occur virtually at scheduled times.
At this time no visitors for lunch.
Only parents who have students in credit earning courses will need to sign the HonorLock agreement. These courses include: Algebra I, Latin, Spanish, Career Prep A, Visual Art 1 (Coach Dunnavant's 3rd period class only).
