Principal's Post
A Letter from Principal Dwyer
Dear DuJardin School Community,
Today we are having a celebration to congratulate Bloomingdale Police Officer Dawn Odoi. Officer Odoi is retiring from the BPD and DuJardin School is celebrating her years of service to the community and to District 13 by having a "Clap out" followed by a short gift presentation in the bus parking lot at 1pm. We want to send a huge THANKS to Officer Odoi for always being there for our students and staff over the years!
All students, kindergarten through fifth grade, will be taking the spring MAP assessments in reading and math over the next several weeks. MAP results will be shared with parents along with the last report card of the school year on June 8th.
Third, fourth and fifth graders will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) in both ELA and math the week of May 17th. Results from this assessment will be available in the fall.
Kindergarten Visitation for DuJardin's incoming kindergarten students is scheduled for Friday, May 7th at either 9:30am or 1:30pm. Parents and students are invited for an in-person visit. Parents will meet with Mr. Dwyer to discuss the kindergarten program and the children will visit the classroom to complete an activity with staff. Please call the office at 630-894-9200 to find out more information about this event if you have a child that will be five years old on or before September 1st , 2021.
Sincerely,
Mark Dwyer

Strategic Plan Survey
Bloomingdale School District 13 is launching a strategic planning process to determine the future direction for District 13. Between April 12 - May 3, District 13 will solicit input from community members to participate with an online survey. The survey offers residents an opportunity to answer questions about their perceptions of the schools and their vision for the future of the community's schools. The link will take participants to a third-party website and all responses will remain anonymous. Thank you in advance for your participation.
