What is Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is when a kid or teen is harassed or threatened online. Usually using facebook, instagram, or anyway that they can message the victim. Being cyberbullied may cause the person to log out of their accounts. If they log out of their accounts then it is easier for identity theft because all they have to do is now your email, then they can change your password. Being cyberbullied has also led to kids committing suicide. This is why we are going to tell you 3 steps that you can use to help stop cyberbullying, or help you get through it.

Have your parents help!

If you have your parents or other siblings monitor your social media you will be less vulnerable to cyber bullying. They will also know that you're being cyberbullied and help you find a way to get through it.

Laugh

Overall the best thing that you can do is laugh. If someone is making fun of you just try to laugh it off, and make yourself feel better about yourself. Another thing that you can do is go around your friends that can help you laugh or bring your spirits up.
