What is Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is when a kid or teen is harassed or threatened online. Usually using facebook, instagram, or anyway that they can message the victim. Being cyberbullied may cause the person to log out of their accounts. If they log out of their accounts then it is easier for identity theft because all they have to do is now your email, then they can change your password. Being cyberbullied has also led to kids committing suicide. This is why we are going to tell you 3 steps that you can use to help stop cyberbullying, or help you get through it.
Tell the person to stop bullying you, although it is your choice. You don't want to respond to the bully but in some cases it might help.
Step #2 is save the evidence. If you save the evidence you can let other people know what you are going through and talk to the cyber bully.
The last step is to know that it is not your fault. Most of the people that are cyber bullying is because they are jealous, or think that making fun of other people will make themselves look cool.
