DELRAN HIGH SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
Delran High School, an inclusive learning community, provides educational opportunities for intellectual development while valuing the importance of cultural diversity and tradition.
A Message from Mr. Finkle!
I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer! Just a reminder, school will begin on Thursday, September 5th. The administration and staff are working very diligently preparing for the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
FamilyID is now available. It is imperative that this is completed before school begins in order for your child to be "in good standing". If it is not completed, your child will not have the privileges offered to all Delran High School students. HERE is a link to the registration page. Please remember that if you already used FamilyID for fall sports, that IS NOT the registration page. You must go back in and register your child again for the new school year. If the registration is not completed by the beginning of the fall season, students are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate. Instructions are posted below.
If you have changed any contacts or phone numbers, it is imperative that you also sign-in to the Parent Portal so that the information can be updated in our student information system as well.
Listed below are very important dates and information for parents and students:
- For incoming Freshman and New Students to Delran High School in grades 10-12, our Orientation Program will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 8:30am in the Performing Arts Center. The program for students will be held from 8:30am to 1:30pm and the parent portion of the orientation will be held from 12:45pm to 1:30pm. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 28th!
- Parents/Guardians of Seniors: Please click here to complete a mandatory 2020 Diploma Order Form.
- Click here for the Summer Assignments. They are posted on our website too. Encourage your child to have a strong start in the new school year by completing the summer reading they selected.
- The Parent Portal will be opened on August 16, 2019 for you to view your child's schedule. Please make note of your child's homeroom since they change each and every year.
- School pictures will be taken during New Student Orientation for all Freshman and newcomers and on September 6th for all other students and students who were unable to be at Freshman Orientation. Senior Portraits will be taken during the week of August 19th. Seniors will receive a postcard with their appointment the first week of August. You can order your photo packages online at www.mylifetouch.com.
- If your child has any outstanding fines(obligations) or has not completed his/her community service requirement from last year (SENIORS), he/she will be ineligible to participate in co-curricular activities including athletics. They will be permitted to practice; however, they will not be issued any equipment from the school. Please contact the main office to clear up any obligations. Please contact Mr. Stolarick to speak with him concerning community service hours.
- Parents of incoming Juniors, please familiarize yourself with the Community Service requirement. This link will give you both an overview and specifics of the program. All Juniors must complete 15 hours of community service. Summer is a perfect opportunity to get started or complete your requirement.

Main Office Under Construction
If you have stopped by DHS this summer, you will see a great deal of work being done to the building. A new security system is being installed which will alert everyone in case of an emergency and new cameras are being put in. We are also having a vestibule built outside of the main office. This will be the only point of entry after 7:30am every day. We have also increased the visitor parking which is outside of the vestibule. Our hope is to have the construction completed by the end of August. To that end, the main office has been relocated to Room 106 for the summer. Please enter through the science wing door across from the Board of Education building.
